Reject The Throwaway Culture We are continuously searching for more ways to reduce waste and encourage reuse and repair of our products to give them a longer life and reduce the amount of product and packaging that ends up in the waste stream. Our new product development programme for 2025 includes more than 30 products that are either reusable or refillable, and our aim is to continue to develop alternatives to single-use and disposable products. Moving forward, our new product development programme focuses on three key product attributes that will help us achieve our ambitions.

STV is focused on the protection of people and their property - wherever pests threaten health and wellbeing – and with the minimum impact on the planet. We hold these values at the centre of our business, and they form the foundation of our core strategy.

We are proud of our diverse workforce, with nearly 100 employees from 8 nationalities and an inclusive company culture which does not discriminate against individuals, regardless of gender, sexuality, religion, or race.

We are alert to the threat that pests pose to human health and property and we are committed to the development of new products and approaches that will enable people to safely protect themselves and their families.

We are working hard to remove plastics and reduce packaging waste. We are well on the way to reaching our target of less than 10% plastic content overall. We have already moved most of the wood, paper, and card used in our product and packaging to FSC sources. And more than 50% of all product is now produced in-house at STV or close to-home within the UK and Europe.

Even the most durable products will eventually succumb to wear and tear, and we have made it easier and quicker than ever for retailers and their customers to source spare parts, replacements, and refills for all the STV product ranges. Replace Our range of reusable and durable equipment is expanding with the introduction of lines like the Ultra Power Household Pest Steam Gun and the multipurpose Plant Remedy Sprayer from Zero In®. Our company nominated charity for 2025 is Greenfingers . Our teams have baked, cycled, walked, run and even wing-walked. We have already raised more than £7,500 and we are committed to raise a total of £10,000 with the support of the business by the end of 2024.

As well as maintaining exacting in-house quality management systems, STV and all its suppliers are audited annually to ensure compliance with internationally recognised ethical and environmental standards.
